About Me

I'm Miroslav Vysusil, IT consultant based in Prague. I've completed Bohemia Divide three times and Tour Aotearoa once (35 days, 3,000 km across New Zealand). I ride year-round, service my own bikes, and started bikepacking when a friend invited me to try Bohemia Divide.

I'm not a coach by training. I'm someone who's done these routes and learned, often the hard way, what works and what doesn't. If you're trying to figure out the same things for your first multi-day trip, I can save you a lot of time.

How to Become a Bikepacker

A practical guide to self-supported cycling. Built around two real routes (Bohemia Divide and Tour Aotearoa) and the mistakes I made on the way.
